Several experiments are held under different scientists at BARI.Here  Pulse Research Centre,Plant Breeding Centre,Horticultural Research Centre,Wheat Research Centre,Tuber crop Research Centre Seed Technology  division  successfully lead experiment to develop new varities.

Under Horticultural Research Centre there is vegetable research field,floriculture research field.Impact of various treatment are exhibited by  experimental field.

 

Cactus are widely grown in pots for decoration and 

exhibition.as many cities have water restricti

ons so drought resistant cactus get popularity.

The numerous cultivars of Gerbera that known today have been developed through hybridization.Gerbera cultivars of commercial importance in different part of the world.Different  cultivar of gerbera are Dusty(red),Flemingo(pale rose)Fredaisy(pink),Valentine(pink),Vesta(red).
